My mother and my two aunts depend on me every day for meals, safety, medical appointments, and a dignified home.
Since April 9, 2026, I have been in Maracaibo caring for them. They cannot be left alone, and since then I have not been able to return to work normally.
This is not a one-day emergency. It is an ongoing situation of dependency and continuous care.
I returned to Maracaibo to care for my mother and my two aunts. The three of them are sisters, and they can no longer manage daily life on their own.
In this home, we live with dementia, intellectual disability, seizures, loss of independence, difficulty walking, incontinence, and episodes of confusion. They need supervision to eat, bathe, move around, and remain safe.
They cannot be left alone: they may become disoriented, eat all the available food, use the kitchen unsafely, or leave the house without understanding the danger. That is why my work and the life I had before have been put on hold.

When it rains, water enters several areas of the house and causes further deterioration.
Water falls onto areas with exposed wiring, creating a serious risk of a short circuit or fire.
The yard and front area need urgent clearing to reduce mosquitoes, pests, and sources of infection.
The loquat trees need pruning to prevent further damage to the house and surrounding area.
